The brief
While working for Sainsbury's, I helped adapt the existing Argos basket experience for TU Clothing, which had its own UX and product requirements. The single-page flow needed to become clearer and easier for shoppers to complete.
What I did
- Worked closely with the UX team to restructure the single-page flow into a clearer two-step journey
- Separated the basket view from the fulfilment options, starting with a simplified product overview
- Built a dedicated fulfilment page where customers choose between delivery and collection
- Implemented a store selector so customers can easily find their preferred collection location
- Owned the front-end logic, layout structure and state handling across both steps
The result
A consistent, performant checkout journey aligned with the Sainsbury's design system, with improved usability and conversion.
